Our Approach to Condition
Every piece in our collection has lived a life before reaching you. Signs of gentle wear are part of the story of a pre-owned item and often contribute to its character and charm. Each piece is carefully inspected and any meaningful signs of wear are thoughtfully noted. We encourage clients to review all photographs closely to fully appreciate the condition and unique qualities of each item.
Contemporary Pre-Owned Pieces
Pristine
Appears virtually unused and exceptionally preserved. May include original packaging such as the box, dust bag, tags, or authenticity card.
Excellent
Lightly carried with only faint signs of use. The interior and exterior remain clean and well maintained.
Very Good
Shows gentle wear from careful use. Structure and overall appearance remain strong, with minor signs consistent with normal handling.
Good
Displays moderate wear from regular use while remaining fully functional and stylish.
Vintage Pieces
Vintage items, typically over 20 years old, reflect the craftsmanship and aesthetic of their era. Natural aging, patina, and subtle signs of wear are expected and often enhance the character of these pieces. Each vintage item is carefully evaluated, and any significant condition details are clearly disclosed.
Excellent Vintage
Remarkably well preserved for its age, with minimal visible wear.
Very Good Vintage
Displays typical signs of age such as light rubbing, gentle softening of structure, or slight hardware patina. Still beautifully presentable.
Good Vintage
Shows visible wear consistent with age, which may include scuffing, fading, minor staining, or hardware oxidation. The piece remains functional and collectible.
Fair Vintage
Pronounced signs of age and wear. These pieces have been well loved yet remain functional and appreciated for their history and character.
Inclusions
Some items may be accompanied by their original dust bag, box, tags, or authenticity cards. Any included accessories will be noted in the individual product description.
